First Musings

Alright,its time to get the show on the road as they say. I created this Blog about a year ago but didn’t really have an idea where to go with it until now. First, you may wonder why I chose to name my Blog after a Medieval War Machine. As you have probably read in the definition I have provided, the Trebuchet was the Bunker Buster of its time. It could hurl 300 pound stones against fortified walls ultimately pulverizing the stone and reducing it to rubble, thus allowing the walls to be breached and the Ramparts over run. Our culture today has been turned on its head by a small percentage of the population who are dedicated to the fall of Western Civilization and its replacement with a Statist form of rule. I was part of this group at one time, early in my life, and I know who they are and what their tactics are (I still have my copy of Saul Alinskys’ Rules For Radicals). At one time I like most who cast a suspicious eye towards the Left, thought as Roger Baldwin proclaimed “Communism is the Goal”, but as I have studied history (from the Pagan cultures of ancient Europe through the founding of America and up to today) I have found a thread. This Thread is the battle between light and darkness and it starts with The War in Heaven, the constant struggle between God’s Angels lead by Michael against Lucifer and his company of Fallen Angels.
Much of what has directed Man is his “Myths and Legends” and his Faith. I am not implying that Religion is myth and legend, but that like religion myth and legend are based somewhere and somehow in fact and by knowing the symbolism of myth and legend and of religion a truth can be arrived at. So, back to my purpose of this Blog.
There is a very good film called “The Usual Suspects” where one of the characters states, “The greatest trick that the Devil ever played was to make people believe he didn’t exist.” The Left has been for years, through bad science and history and an effort to control education and media in all forms, trying to convince people that Lucifer doesn’t exist, by telling us that God doesn’t exist. No God, no Lucifer, no truth and it’s all relative. But what is the ultimate goal of this charade if not Godless Communism? Nothing less than a return to a Statist Empire with an Emperor, just as the Romans had under the Julian-Claudio Casers, a man-god who will lead the world. And here is where this Blog fits in.

Mathew 7:6- Give not that which is holy to dogs; neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turning upon you, they tear you.

Now, what I get from this passage is that if you throw a handful of pearls at a pig, he doesn’t know pearls from gravel and gets annoyed. Well a hand full of gravel may annoy him but a 300 pound stone launched from a Trebuchet will probably get his attention. That is the purpose of my Blog. I intend to hurl stones at the defenses of the Left and hopefully I can serve to weaken the barricades they have built and hopefully get the attention of some of them. Yes I just compared the Left to swine which has made me wonder if the great American Cartoonist Al Capp had this same thing in mind when he came up with his “Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything”.
Well, we can argue about whether the Left are swine or not at another time but for right now let me give a brief litany of what you may expect to read on this Blog. I will post most likely weekly since I am working and a bit lazy when I get home. The Blog will cover, myth, legend, religion, history (especially ancient Europe) Catholicism, Christianity, science, philosophy, physics, Meta physics, prophecy, conspiracy, etc, but it will all be geared toward triggering an epiphany in the mind of our swine friends.
